Journey to My New Life

It all began the beginning of February when the love of my life and I took what seemed to be a never ending drive all the way down to our new home together. February 7thI arrived to Ruskin, FL… yes I know what you’re going to say… “where the in f*** is Ruskin.” It’s about 35 minutes South if Tampa for all of you who are too lazy to open a map (I feel that though, trust me). I know what you’re all thinking, once you realize how small this town is; why would I move somewhere like that when all I talk about and live for is fashion??? Well, I needed something new and Ruskin happens to be where Steven moved to and I’m crazy about him so I said F*** it! Crazy I know… but a man isn’t the only reason I left my hometown, in fact, I took baby steps of moving out of my house back in June of 2018 when I moved to Connecticut to live with my aunt. Eventually I decided to take the next step in life and move to FL for multiple reasons; to get away from my hometown for good, get out of the cold, I needed something new & exciting, and most importantly… I wanted to prove to MYSELF and only myself, that I could do it. I always talked about leaving lame old New Hampshire for as long as I can remember, and I finally did it. I see too many people stuck and content with their life in the same place they grew up their entire life and I didn’t want that; I wanted to grow into the amazing person that I have become. I’m excited to share my life & journey with you all (if anyone is even reading this). So without further ado… welcome to the crazy, hectic, but amazing life of Shan.
